Christopher Barry, P. Log., Senior Director, Infrastructure Planning,
Research In Motion Limited, has more than 20 years’ experience in Asian supply management, including strategic sourcing and procurement, contract manufacturing, logistics, emerging market entry and Joint Ventures. A former paratrooper and military logistics officer, he has an M.A. degree in Trade and Logistics from the School of Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins University in Washington, D.C. He was, most recently, Vice President, Supply Management for a US $ 1.0 billion multiproduct manufacturer until its recent purchase by a private equity group. He speaks English, French and Chinese, and is currently an independent consultant in Asian and emerging markets supply chain management.
