
LQ is pleased to announce that Sarah Friesen has accepted LQ’s invitation to join its Advisory Board.
Sarah Friesen is the president of Friesen Concepts Inc., an independent consulting practice specializing in healthcare supply chain solutions. Areas of focus include supply chain transformation, professional development and project facilitation.
Sarah is currently on assignment with the Healthcare Supply Chain Network, providing oversight to two projects: 1) assessing the readiness of Ontario hospitals to implement metrics and standards as defined by the Ontario Ministry of Finance BPS Supply Chain Secretariat; and 2) developing a training program for strategic sourcing professionals in healthcare organizations.
Sarah’s prior experience includes the role of Vice President Operations at Plexxus, one of the shared services organizations supporting Ontario hospitals, where her focus was on optimizing service to members through the creation of an integrated supply chain. Sarah gained her many years of purchasing and supply chain experience in both the public and private sectors, where her primary focus has been on supply chain re-engineering.
Sarah sits as a board member for the Healthcare Supply Chain Network and for Shared Services West. She lectures on healthcare supply chain topics at various educational institutions.
