This event is the third in a series of reporting forums on the business case viability of the technology. Senior executives from Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s, and Jones Apparel Group will discuss their individual store research findings. The findings confirm previous research that was sponsored by CSCMP and the Voluntary Interindustry Commerce Solutions (VICS) Association. The research was conducted by the Information Technology Research Institute at the Sam M. Walton College of Business, University of Arkansas. Presenters will include Pam Sweeney, senior vice president systems, Macy’s logistics and operations, Roger Blazek, vice president, shortage control Bloomingdale’s, and Norm Veit, executive vice president, MIS for Jones Apparel Group, Inc.
